November 12, 2022 — Refilling the Coffee Cup (Week of November 7, 2022)

Stan’s main takeaway for each day this past week.

The full version of each posting can be found at www.waiting4thetrain.com

Note: Please forward this to friends, family, etc. as a way to introduce them to Stan,  S. Tory Teller, and the conversations about faith, discipleship, and what it means to be a Christian.

Monday, November 7 (Is disobedience worth the cost?) — When we disobey God, other people can and will be impacted. Is our disobedience worth that?

Tuesday, November 8 (Do you tend to forget what God has done?) — The disciples had just seen a miracle but they didn’t connect it to their present circumstance. Do we do that?

Wednesday, November 9 (Are you seeing anyone else?) — On the Mount of Transfiguration, the disciple looked around and saw only Jesus. Does that describe us?

Thursday, November 10 (If God could do it with me, He can do it with anyone) — Only God can change a heart, but we have to respond to Him. How are we doing with that?

Friday, November 11 (Oh, that’s what they’re for!) — God has given us eyes to see, ears to hear, and a mind to remember. Are we using them as He intends?
