“I can’t be in two places at the same time,” is a common expression that reflects the need to make choices about what we do. It was the same thing for the early disciples who were sitting in their boats mending nets when Jesus said, “Follow Me.” They couldn’t stay in their boats mending nets and follow Jesus at the same time. Take another look at it and spend some time in prayer about whether God has somewhere else for you to be, doing something different than what you are doing now.
