Stan’s main takeaway for each day this past week:

Monday, August 28 (The desires of whose heart?) — We are to delight ourselves in the desires of God’s heart, but too often we delight ourselves in the desires of our hearts. Why?

Tuesday, August 29 (Transformation is a life-long process) — When we are born again, there’s an immediate change, but that’s just the beginning of a life-long process. God wants us to be a part of His transforming work. Are we a part of that?

Wednesday, August 30 (Modeling an effective prayer that accomplished much) — Jesus is the perfect model for what James wrote concerning effective prayers and what they accomplish. Are we following His model?

Thursday, August 31 (Do we enjoy listening to God?) — We don’t always enjoy listening to what everyone has to say, but we are to listen with enjoyment to what God has to say to us. How are we doing with that?

Friday, September 1 (Walking in darkness — shall nor or will not?) — Jesus said that those who follow Him shall not walk in darkness, but sometimes we choose to do so. Why is that?
